My Failproof Travel Uniform

25th November, 2015

Living between two cities and working across continents, I seem to be on a plane every week. As such, I’ve fine-tuned the perfect travel uniform: one that allows me to fly in comfort and also arrive in style. It’s a fail-proof formula I never veer from – when something works, you just have to work it!
TravelUniform2My in-flight uniform involves: a hat (because they’re impossible to pack), oversized sunglasses (since poor-clogging makeup is verboten on planes), a massive scarf (it does double-duty as a blanket once you’re on board), a blazer (so you look professional upon landing), a silk button-down (so you feel like you’re actually wearing pajamas), drapey harem pants (again, looks fancy, feels like pj’s), and slip-on spanish mules (super easy at security). I carry on a backpack (hands-free!) and check a big aluminum suitcase (which gets a new sticker from every city I visit).

  • Looking gorgeous as ever! I love backpacks at the moment, they’re so convenient and stylish. This Gucci one is something I’d gladly add in my bag collection. Another piece I love is the LV scarf, which adds just the right amount of colour in your look.

Greetings from Hawaii (I’m Finnish but currently vacationing here)! xx

  • Oh I love knowing frequent flyer’s uniforms since I find it so hard to find the perfect travel outfits at times. Love the idea of a silk button down. Just gotta make sure it doesn’t wrinkle 🙂 Love how stylish you look and I’m sure it is super comfy!

So classy, comfy, and genuinely stylish–a world apart from the normcore, ripped-jean blahness celebrity rags are always going on about as “travel style.” Bravo and thank you!

  • Great look for traveling:P

My Failproof Travel Uniform is unbelievable for us. She is observing amazing in high-end backpacks. Such backpack is modish in best design. Nevertheless, the scarf of LV is looking perfect around her shoulder that increases her persona. This uniform is suitable and comfy for travelling.
