I’ve been on a streamlined system for a few months now, really honing in on the kinds of clothes that support my schedule and lifestyle, then weeding out the rest. As you may have noticed, that means holding onto a slew of silky blouses and a handful of harem pants. This particular pair of pantaloons were a gift from a friend, who had them custom made for me as a gift while she was recently in Hong Kong. After I visited Vietnam and had some clothes made for myself there, several friends of mine have followed suit in various other points on the globe ~ the benefit of this is occasionally they’ve made a piece or two for me too!
As far as accessories go, I’m all about classic Ray-Bans and these sleek Alexander Wang shoes lately, but have been bringing an eclectic touch to most outfits with this colorfully embroidered Lizzie Fortunato clutch. And ever since this fringed Derek Lam bandana floated into my orbit, I’m all about bandit-style scarves. The one I’m wearing here is by Ellery, an Australian brand whose outsize silhouettes and imaginative prints first mesmerized me on this shoot. |KELLY WEARS| Ray-Ban sunnies, Delfina Delettrez earring, Ellery scarf, Zara blouse (similar / similar), custom pants, Lizzie Fortunato clutch, Alexander Wang shoes |PHOTOS| by Austin Phelps
