Thus far, this summer has been about simplifying for me ~ stripping it all down to the basics. I’m taking life a little slower, trying to allow room for creative evolution and unexpected inspiration. Allowing myself to play. To daydream and paint and to lay on the beach reading book after book and doodling on sheets of construction paper. I don’t think I’ve ever taken this long a pause in my life, and it feels really needed. Ideas are starting to take shape, and I’ve adopted an open-minded energy toward where they may lead: what I’d like to make next is life’s constant question. In between it all, I’m also clarifying my costumery, keeping things as easy-breezy as can be.|WEARING| NARS lipstick, Tiffany sunnies, Zara top, Rich + Skinny jeans, Primary tote, Sigerson Morrison shoes|PHOTOS| by Austin Phelps |FOR MORE ITERATIONS| of the blue jeans / white shirt simplification sensation, |CLICK HERE| and |HERE|
