One of my longest-standing collaborative relationships is with my dear friend Cleo Schroeder of Primary. We met when I was working as a designer, during my first few years in New York. Cleo was in school at Parsons and assisted in our studio a couple days a week. I immediately connected with her, and we’ve managed to stay friends and creative partners ever since. I am so proud of how she’s evolved and grown her collection over the last couple years ~ they’re now selling all over the world, including Dagney+Barstow in New York (the chicest!) and Shopbop online. I’ve been styling for her since the beginning, so I’ve gotten to see better than anybody just how much the Primary vision has been fine-tuned, and the story has matured. Her Spring 2013 collection is my favorite yet!
