I first waxed poetic over my obsession with frontal hem zips HERE, and my espousal of the trend is only increasing. Why did we wait so long to make this a thing?! It’s the best leg-lengthening trick to come around since the inception of flares or the birth of nude shoes. And the best part? Every time I scan the stores there are more and more varietals to choose from.     they hardly lengthen the leg by stopping in a point well above the ankle, in my opinion…they tend to make even those with long legs look rather stumpy, especially while wearing flats. And because they come down so low and skinny in the back of the leg, they really emphasize the hips, making one look ill-proportioned.

    oooh… love these! my side ankle-zip jeans (which have been well-loved over the years) need to be retired soon, and these seem like a nice update. and i totally agree with you that they lengthen the leg as opposed to regular skinny jeans that taper at the ankle.
