This past weekend (while on an extra-long day date with Erin),  I gave the whole concept of winter whites a thorough try and it felt awesome. There’s something about wearing nature’s cleanest camouflage that feels wonderfully thematic. It’s that sort of myopic concentration ~ expressed via wacky curveballs like Celine’s obtuse snowball trousers ~ that makes fashion both influential and fun.
Normally we both might have been more casual on a Saturday (see her look of the day HERE), but we were unabashedly taking advantage of the temporary luxury of drowning ourselves in Phillips House jewelry, with whom we’ll be hanging out at Saks this Thursday.     Oh my goodness, if those Celine pants make a slender wisp like you look so wide I don’t even want to think bout how’d they’d look on someone of a more average weight and body type. Not flattering. But the coat is to die for.
