The thing I enjoy most about my life is that it is filled with really mind-blowingly creative people. I tell you, I’ve been really lucky. Every one of my friendships is founded on a basis of artistic co-conspiratorship. We don’t just hang out, we get together and concoct stuff. We make an effort to entertain, surprise, and inspire each other, then eagerly anticipate the collective results: what can we come up with next?! It’s outrageously fun.One of my oldest friends, longtime neighbors, and favorite creative confederates, the dandy Mat Sanders (who could forget him in THIS?!!), has recently forsaken New York to pursue an amazing opportunity in LA ~ leaving behind a massive chasm in the humor and wit quotient of this city. He’s totally irreplaceable ~ meaning I might just need to become bicoastal! Los Angeles, I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of each other in the future…|IN THIS POST| Kelly wears: Westward\Leaning sunnies, gifted Maje jacket, Rebecca Taylor tunic (recently seen HERE), Zoe Chicco and Jennifer Zeuner necklaces, Joie pants (first worn HERE), Ben Minkoff clutch, Alexander Wang shoes // Mat wears: Catbird earring, jacket from Harajuku, J.A.C.H.S. shirt, Them Atelier jeans, Happy Socks leopard socks, Generic Surplus shoes |PHOTOS| by Jeremy James
