I stumbled upon this photo of myself from Fashion Week in a recent NYMag street style story, and it’s a good illustration of what I’m loving in fashion right now ~ it’s all about the details. The older I get, the more I am able to understand my own style. Turns out, what I really look for are classics with a twist; I want what’s unfussy, but that doesn’t mean I don’t still long for surprises. That’s why an unexpectedly hemmed & trimmed oxford top, a classic pant in a fresh print, and a simple bag with a slight sense of humor feel perfectly on point.
