There was an unmistakable undercurrent of Helmut Newton-inspired designs coursing through the New York shows this season, so by day 5 of Fashion Week, I was itching to experiment with my own interpretation of the famed photographer’s well-established aesthetic: graphic black lines and a thick slice of seduction.
