{ Hair Styling Secrets }

I get a lot of questions about how I style my hair. While I’m still using this tried-and-true system to achieve my non-natural curls, I’ve recently introduced 4 new products to the process, which I now can’t live without:

1. Moroccanoil: I’m late to the craze on this one, but as my hair gets longer, I’ve begun working it into the ends after the shower, to keep them shiny and soft.

2. O&M Rootalicious: If allowed to follow its natural inclinations, my hair offers up no volume at all. This magic potion fixes that issue!

3. O&M Surf Bomb: While my ends and roots are assisted by the two products above, this little guy gives great texture to the length in between.

4. TRESemmé Extra Hold Hairspray: When it comes to keeping my follicular efforts in place all day, I’ve found that the cheaper the hairspray, the better the hold. At around $3/can, this one can’t be beat.

    I think I’m going to have to try O&M Rootalicious – my biggest problem is that my straight hair lacks volume. Thanks for the recommendation! – Alison { aliology.com }

    Yep I’m defo feeling Rootalicious as well… I asked my hairdresser what I can do to add volume….his response was “with age your hair will loose it’s body”. I now have a new hairdresser!!

    I really do love your hairstyle. I have lots of the after shower oils to put in my hair, but I just never end up using them. I think I’ll start now that my hair is getting longer too.

    I’m considering cutting my hair short soon and I’ll definitely be buying volumizer (in powder form, believe it or not). As for my currently very long hair, I use a leave-in conditioner after washing my hair.
