Travel Diary: Day I in Marrakech

16th May, 2012
DayOne

I have officially found my happy place, and it is Marrakech, Morocco ~ the sumptuous city of my dreams. From the arid Agafay desert at its outskirts to the opulent riads within the médina, it’s a city teeming with culture and elegance and unfathomable amounts of inspiration. I’ve had the great pleasure of visiting this North African oasis this week with my close friend and collaborator Jamie Beck, and because I can’t yet find words for the wonder of this scintillating setting, I’ll let her images speak for themselves. This is just a taste of what we saw on our first day ~ please click any image to enlarge, the deliciousness is definitely in the details:|3 ABOVE| Settling in at the Four Seasons Hotel post-flight.
