Our final moments in Marrakech were tremendously bittersweet. Over just a few days, Jamie and I found ourselves plunged into an unexpectedly intense love affair with the city, and it was hard to break away. Happily, we were taking with us immense inspiration and a determination to return again and again over the course of our lives.
We spent our last evening enjoying dinner at home in the Four Seasons, savoring every corner’s calming comfort (and their restaurant’s ‘free interpretation’ paella).

I wore Melanie Auld earrings, a Naeem Khan tunic (a treasure from my four-year stint as a designer there), a clutch picked up on Day 2 of our trip and a ring from Day 3, Rae Francis pants, and Elie Tahari heels.

Jamie was simply resplendent in a vintage gown, paired in casual confidence with these flat sandals.
In saying goodbye, I must thank all of the wonderful people who made this trip so magical: the Moroccan National Tourist Office for extending the invitation, the Four Seasons for graciously hosting us, our gentlemanly driver Aziz, our travel companions Nola, Caroline, Rebecca, and Susie ~ and of course our fearless leader Megan. I’ll never forget the beauty of this experience, and I thank you all for the indelible memories! I never wanted our adventure to end.
