Bulgari fragrances will always have a special place in my heart. You see, it was the original (now discontinued) Omnia that first started me on the slippery slope that is a love of luxury. I was in middle school when it debuted. Something about its smokey scent captivated me, and the bottle reminded me of a modernist sculpture of a human heart (what can I say, I was a semi-gothic 8th grader!). It was the first designer item that I just HAD to have, and I begged for it for Christmas, then continued to wear it exclusively through my entire adolescence. Needless to say, we made a lot of memories together.
So, when Bulgari invited me to Milan to celebrate the debut of Omnia’s latest iteration, Omnia Coral, there was no way I could refuse. It was a magical opportunity to make new, grown-up memories with a product that will forever be dear to me.
Above: fresh off a plane from JFK, arriving at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan. I wore: a Rick Owens beanie, Tiffany sunnies, Halston Heritage trench, Maison Scotch shirt, DL1961 jeans (recently worn HERE), and Toms ballerinas.
Below: I was whisked straight into the hotel’s spa for a relaxing massage, restorative facial and reenergizing sauna.

Above & below: after showering and unpacking, I changed into a Tibi jacket, Sir jumpsuit and Sigerson Morrison wedges for a day spent visiting friends in the city.
Above & below: that evening occasioned an intimate dinner party, whose menu and decor were both inspired by the essence of Coral.

Above: at brunch the next morning, with Denni (left) and Emilie (right). I wore: a Lady Grey necklace, Rae Francis dress, Amanda Joy bag, and the Elie Tahari shoes you saw HERE.
After brunch, we were taken through a multi-sensoral immersion, in order to understand the individual scents that together make up Omnia Coral: goji berry, hibiscus flower, sandalwood and pomegranate. Experiencing them each in isolation was an incredible way to better appreciate the fresh, beachy feel of the final fragrance.

Thank you to Bulgari for this unforgettable experience, and for introducing Omnia Coral to us all!
