{ Never Say Never }

I never thought I’d be the girl to wear floral jeans ~ especially a pair that look to have been plucked from a Gap Kids collection, circa 1993. But here I stand before you, rocking (and reveling in!) the look. These gals were sent to me by 7 For All Mankind, and they lingered on a garment rack in my studio for several weeks before I gave them a second glance. Then, as soon as springy weather swooped into the city, they suddenly seemed like THE perfect thing. I love that fashion can continue to surprise me like that, and I’m grateful for a job that allows me to try (and learn to love!) looks outside my go-to comfort zone.{ customized vintage sunnies, Rag + Bone blouse (previously seen HERE), Renee C. sweater (also featured HERE), gifted 7 For All Mankind jeans, Truvow clutch (also carried HERE), Prada shoes (worn HERE and HERE as well) }

    I love the floral jeans! I was not a big fan either, but every time I’m never a fan of anything, I’m always converted by other people (such as yourself) that look fabulous in it. I’m going on a search for floral jeans now :)

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with feeling like your clothes carry the spirit of a well-dressed five year-old. :) I think that dressing in a way that makes you feel childish sometimes brings back the feelings of simplicity and happiness that childhood intrinsically had.

    I like that although floral, you haven’t created a look that’s over girly. Quite the opposite actually you’ve maintained a classy and elegant style with the help of the Prada’s and that killer Renee. C sweater! Great look!

    I have felt this same way so many times this season!  I didn’t think I would wear the neons or florals, but here I am doing it…you never know if you’ll love something until you try it.  These look particularly lovely on you & the colors are perfect! :)

    to me, there aren’t really any fashion dos or don’ts, you should give everything a try, and if it suits you, then great, if it doesn’t, give it another try maybe with a different style another time!  :)

    I never thought I was girlie enough to wear the floral print jeans but I lust after a pair every time I see them.     wow, I want some floral pants now! It only scares my because I have such a big but compared to the rest of my body, I’m only starting to feel comfortable doing the “bright pants” look, bold patterns still scare me.
    I suppose wearing something long and flowy makes them more forgiving! Love your styling of them :)
