{ costume of the day } coffee run

{ coach sunnies + bag, F21 earrings, the glamourai beehive bramble bib, vintage isaac mizrahi jacket, go international tank (last seen here), j.brand jeans, pura lopez boots }

some days just don't allow for poufy skirts and frilly dresses. that's why i'm so pleased to see tailored denim becoming more popular. for years it was impossible to find anything un-distressed! i'm not sure if these pants even qualify as 'jeans' as the fabric isn't a true twill; either way, they've become my casual staple ~ and inspired me to diversify my dungaree range. similar substitutes have recently been ordered from other brands. does this mean i'll be wearing sweats before long? probably not, but in fashion, anything's possible!

You look great!
I totally agree it's the only way I wear my jeans, too. It's good that they've got more popular as it means larger choice in shops; otherwise it was very hard to find a good pair.

Are those the J Brand Lovestory jeans? I have them and love, love, love them. So 1960's bell bottom glamour (as you would say!).

I've become a denim addict but I find myself completely unable to wear bell bottoms, which I LOVE. I'm only 5'3 so the silhouette doesn't really function on me. Love them on you though!

I usually opt for the skinny fit in jeans just because I feel lumpy in the wider cuts-- but you pull off the flare so well! This is a bit random, but I also really like the revamp of the site, you bought your own domain? Nice. :)
